Crafty Chalkboard

I can't lie. I found this idea off of an adorable blog where the girl created a chalkboard out of an old picture she got from goodwill and used it to show everyone the size of her baby bump as she was getting ready to be a first time mom.
I loved her blog so much, it inspired me to make my very own Chalk Board.

Now, because her blog was about her baby bump and getting ready to be a mom, and now, its about her baby... doesn't mean that I am pregnant so lets clarify that. No, I am not pregnant. I just really liked the idea of the chalk board and decided that it would be a perfect thing to add to the apartment right near the door welcoming our guest. It can be used for quotes, drawings, when the niece and nephew come over, they can go to town on it...ect. So I ventured out to a Goodwill and on the first attempt, I found my picture! I told the women at the store what I wanted to do and they thought it was adorable! They want me to bring them pictures so they can see the finished product. haha.

Here is my craft....
The picture I found from Goodwill...

Nathan was our first visitor as the board was done. He wanted to be the first to test it out...
